Job Context:
∎ Salam Steel Concast Re-Rolling Mills Ltd. (SCRM) The leading Manufacturer of MS rebar & Sectional items in the country, is looking for a Manager, Business Development, and Technical support for its Corporate Office located at Gulshan, Dhaka; the job requires extensive travel all over the country.
∎ Contribute to the development towards a strong market and customer-centric culture across the country
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead the team members, and set-up a strong network.
∎ Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
∎ Must have the ability to understand current market trends and buying psychology.
∎ Should have a strong analysis of competitors' activities,
∎ Analysis of District (City corporation, Thana) wise all Engineer & Contractors prepared database.
∎ Segmentation of Engineer and Contractor. Develop strong relationships with all Engineers through regular visits & using Civil Engineering Knowledge to help them in project development.
∎ Have clear understanding of BSD ISO, BSTI, ASTM, BS, BNBC, and other standards.
∎ Have sound knowledge of engineering materials specially Reinforcement bar and their application in construction.
∎ Prepare regular & scheduled visit and develop relationships with consultants, engineers, architects and other influencers.
∎ Project/Site Visit to ensure conversion & give Engineering support from the technical point of view to Individual Home builders and project sites.
∎ To manage the smooth arrangement of Influencer Events & give speeches at the IHB event & Mason Event
∎ To arrange the necessary steps to conduct tests in BUET, CUET, RUET, KUET & Other technical universities and institutions.
∎ To arrange Seminar for Govt. Authority, Local & Foreign contractors & Consultant.
∎ Maintain a detailed database for all received complaints with status
∎ Any other task as and when required by management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Proven track record of achieving conversion targets.
∎ Sense of urgency to succeed and a passion for continuous growth.
∎ Strong analytical ability and reporting skills.
∎ Value-added service through supervision of any prescheduled construction work.
∎ Positive mindset and result driven
