∎ Sound knowledge in wood, furniture manufacturing’s items procurement management is must.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Goods purchase & delivery in due time through cash or credit
∎ Continuously updating knowledge about running market price & goods availability
∎ Have to negotiate with vendors
∎ Keep internal communication with accounts, execution & other related departments for fund requisition and other works.
∎ Have to manage emergency & tuff situation in case of purchase, goods in-housing, delivery & logistic support.
∎ Bills are need to be checked according to supplied goods.
∎ Maintain vendor due list sample collection & take approval from concern person.
∎ Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the organization's goals.
∎ Analyze market trends and supplier performance to inform purchasing decisions.
∎ Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.
∎ Collaborate with inventory management teams to optimize stock levels.
∎ Conduct cost analysis to identify savings opportunities.
∎ Develop and manage the procurement budget, ensuring compliance with financial guidelines.
∎ Identify areas for process improvement within the supply chain.
∎ Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
∎ Work closely with other departments, such as production, logistics, and finance, to align procurement efforts with overall business objectives.
∎ Assess and mitigate risks associated with supply chain disruptions.
∎ Develop contingency plans to ensure business continuity
