Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain process, including sourcing, procurement, logistics and distribution.
∎ Conduct research to identify potential international suppliers that meet the company's quality, cost and sustainability standards.
∎ Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and conditions, finalize contracts to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
∎ Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure that sourced products meet the company's quality standards.
∎ Develop and implement cost-effective strategies to optimize the procurement process while maintaining high-quality standards.
∎ Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and changes in the industry to make informed decisions and recommendations.
∎ Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with international suppliers to foster a collaborative and mutually beneficial partnership.
∎ Identify potential risks in the supply chain and implement strategies to mitigate those risks.
∎ Track and report metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
∎ Assess, manage and mitigate risks.
∎ Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
∎ Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
∎ Key Performance Indicators are the measurement parameters and target which define your accountabilities and responsibilities.
∎ Keeping contract files and using them as reference for the future, producing reports and statistics using computer software.
∎ Evaluating bids and making recommendations based on commercial and technical factors.
∎ Forecasting levels of demand for services and products to meet the business needs. Keeping a constant check on stock levels.
∎ Responsible for managing import vendors and material.
∎ Team Management. Export / Import Management.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ House rent- 25000 BDT, Conveyance-5000 BDT. Medical Allowance-6000 BDT
