Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Source development & evaluating appropriate suppliers that can provide value to the business at the best price.
∎ Identify potential suppliers, evaluate them based on quality, cost, delivery, and service criteria, and conduct site visits & assessments.
∎ To reduce the processing time, Oversee the creation, AMS approval & tracking of purchase orders, and ensure timely order fulfillment for smoothly running the process.
∎ Efficient budget utilization to reduce the overall procurement cost by conducting cost analysis, budgeting for procurement activities, and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
∎ Develop & maintain strong relationships with key suppliers due to improved supplier performance for consistent quality, delivery & payment issues.
∎ Work closely with inventory control teams to reduce inventory holding costs, increase inventory turnover & manage inventory level—liaison with user departments (Production, maintenance, Store) & Implementing Just-in-Time (JIT) strategies.
∎ Maintain the record of supplier bills & Supplier payment issue liaison with accounts & treasury team.
