∎ Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology,Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology,Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology,Khulna University of Engineering and Technology,Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology students will get preference
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: PMP
∎ Skills Required: Budget Management, Labor Management, Negotiation Skills, Planning, Presentation, quantity surveyor, Subcontractor Management
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Civil Engineering, Construction engineering, quantity surveyor, Subcontract Management
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Engineering Firms, Group of Companies
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Subcon Planning - Prepare and execute Max various Project Subcon Engagement Plan - which includes category wise Subcon Database creation, Subcon engagement Plan as per Project Work Execution Plan and Budget, Forecast Subcon spend/budget and other related activities
∎ Subcon Sourcing and Development - source and enlist potential Subcons and maintain database. Regular communication with potential subcon key personnel. Develop existing subcon fleet through Performance Management and constant communication to enhance the work performance.
∎ Subcon engagement through SOP and effective Negotiation - Proper analysis of work scope and subcon credentials for effective negotiation before engagement of any subcon. Capacity to drive the Subcon as per Subcon planning and ensure company benefit.
∎ Cost Control Strategy and Achieve Savings - Proper analysis of work methodology and budget to identify strategy to optimize cost through engineering and negotiation, Achieve Savings.
∎ Performance Management - Constant Monitoring of Subcon work performance in association with respective Site Engineer/PM and effort to enhance performance, penalize/held responsible the Subcon for unsatisfactory performance, Award and reward, Performance Reporting and other related activities.
∎ Claim/Dispute Settlement - Capacity to listen Subcon complains and claims, spend adequate time to resolve the claim and disputes.
∎ Process Development & Training - Develop specific policies/SOP and proper execution. Provide regular Training to develop team members.
∎ Day-to-day Activities & Communication - Monitor day to activities and ensure effective communication with Internal and external stakeholders.
