Educational Requirements:
∎ BBA/ MBA/ Engineering Background preferably IPE .
∎ PGDSCM or any Professional Degree in Supply Chain Management will be added advantage.
∎ Skills Required: Leadership, Negotiation Skills, Organizing, Planning, Problem solving and decision making, team work, Time Management
Experience Requirements:
∎ 10 to 12 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Commercial, Export/ Import through L/C, Purchase/ Procurement, Supply Chain
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Group of Companies, Manufacturing (FMCG), Manufacturing (Light Engineering & Heavy Industry), Multinational Companies
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Organize/manage the Procurement functions within a given entity and ensure a compliance with procurement strategy.
∎ Prepare annual procurement plan along with budget and implement the plan through effective procedure.
∎ Develop and implement purchase policies and process and contract management instructions.
∎ Source potential suppliers on regular basis, evaluate their qualification and proposals through comparative study and prepare Purchase orders.
∎ Prepare comparative suppliers price quotation statement, minimum three for final purchase.
∎ Responsible for supervising, planning purchasing and receiving all activities related to purchasing and distributing commodity items in a timely and cost effective way.
∎ Ensure cost control and adequate reporting for analysis of standard cost, cost saving, inflation and material spending.
∎ Handle shipping line and transport-related concern authorities for smooth and timely delivery of goods and execution of import procedures.
∎ Applicant should have sound knowledge on L/C process and Amendment and checking LC terms and conditions.
∎ Should have work experience with customs authority, port handling dispute specially customs clearance/H.S. code etc.
∎ Experienced in ERP and SAP system operation for the group import materials.
∎ Supervise all kind of work related with C&F agent and insurance through L/C process.
∎ Coordinates and manages the commodity pipelines to ensure that there are no interruptions in stock.
∎ To liaison with accounts and production department for ensuring that there are no interruptions in stock.
∎ Follow up all procurement related works from scrutinizing purchase requisition, verify specifications, collecting commercial proposals, negotiation, and evaluation of offers or quotation through CS, till the issuance of purchase order.
∎ Facilitate selection of appropriate vendors for vendor enlistment and approve by management and update time to time.
∎ Verifying stock of materials in store for overall coordination and smooth operation.
∎ Establish, negotiate and develop contract terms and conditions and maintain relationship with suppliers.
∎ Maintain procurement records, including electronic records and other systems ensuring accuracy and availability of data.
∎ Should possess good team building ability and leadership quality to run a team to achieve the goal of the company.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Good Communication and interpersonal skills in English & Local language.
∎ Good Analytical abilities to assess the performance of suppliers against criteria such as quality, cost, reliability, & financial stability.
∎ Strong sense of responsibility. self-motivated and proactive working attitude.
∎ Candidates Must possess the mandatory criteria for integrity.
∎ Good Command of office software such as MS Office ,SAP
∎ Should have experience to work with different Govt. agency like Titas, REB etc.
∎ Adequate Knowledge for the following area: Ceramics/logistics/transport/mechanical/electrical/local raw material/rental of heavy mobile equipment/servicing of transport/C &F,L/C/ Local &Foreign Purchase etc
