Educational Requirements:
∎ B. Sc in Civil Engineering from any public (preferably BUET/CUET/KUET/RUET) university or foreign reputed Engineering university with good academic record.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 7 to 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare Design of steel structure or pre-engineered steel structure using latest software as well as STAAD Pro, ETABS etc.
∎ Having clear knowledge about the latest Code BNBC-2020.
∎ Prepare estimates& detail design as required within estimated project value.
∎ Responsible for design work of projects to consult with sales & marketing and other related dept. Monitor & follow up Designers work and provide appropriate advice.
∎ Design and Analyze the Steel Structure for the governing loads conditions as per the code requirement.
∎ Understand the parameter of total structure from sales engineer; Analysis the Offer design & submit the weight of the project.
∎ Review the drawings received from consultant / client
∎ Attending Technical meetings with Sales/Marketing and clients.
∎ Address immediately with the change of drawing if the master design is changed and keep proper documentation for prepare built-in drawing.
∎ Providing inputs for detailing and providing support to detailers and other all connecting departments including factory/production.
∎ Check all the fabrication drawing
∎ Provide reports as per Management requirement.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 32 to 38 years
∎ Must have practical experience of Design of Pre-Fabricated steel structures (especially high-rise steel building design, Steel Bridge, steel shed building etc. design experience) with working experience of any reputed steel Fabrication company.
∎ Required knowledge of Local and International Steel building standards and Codes for design of Steel structures.
∎ Leadership skills to supervise the designers
∎ Good computer command, communication and presentation skills.
∎ Capability to undertake and implement the job independently and flexible in extra working hour.
∎ Working experience in Steel Building Fabrication company in Bangladesh, Dubai, Vietnam, China, India etc. will be preferable.
∎ Having knowledge about details engineering assessment.
