Strong knowledge of knit garment construction, fabrics, measurements, fitting and production processes.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Good command of written and spoken English.
10–12 years of relevant experience in the knit garments industry, preferably with reputed export-oriented factories.
Candidates with strong experience in garment technical, product development, fitting and buyer coordination will be preferred.
Experience working with international buyers and brands will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities & Context
Lead and manage the Technical Department of a 100% export-oriented knit garments factory.
Ensure product quality, technical compliance, and production standards are maintained as per buyer requirements.
Coordinate with Merchandising, Production, Quality, IE, R&D and other relevant departments to resolve technical issues.
Review and approve construction, measurement, fitting, workmanship, and technical specifications of garments.
Analyze technical problems and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate with buyers, buying houses and technical teams during product development and production.
Ensure proper implementation of buyer-specific technical requirements and standards.
Guide and develop the technical team to improve product quality, efficiency and compliance.
Conduct technical reviews and provide solutions for complex production and quality issues.
Ensure timely completion of sample development, approvals and technical documentation.
