Job Context:
∎ We`re looking for an experienced Manager - Procurement to be responsible for the procurement of raw materials, supplies, merchandise, and services in support of a variety of functions at North End Coffee.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Communicate vision, create systems and goals, and implement strategies to meet procurement targets
∎ Lead the procurement team by regularly giving feedback and training to assist in the professional development of team members
∎ Prepare budgets, cost analyses, and reports
∎ Oversee the purchases of imported products and manage the LC creation process
∎ Create purchase orders and resolve availability issues
∎ Resolve invoice and receiving discrepancies
∎ Research, recommend, and purchase quality products and materials
∎ Evaluate current and prospective suppliers
∎ Build relationships with existing suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricing and service
∎ Prepare purchase plans for the purchase of raw materials, supplies, merchandise, and services
∎ Process requisitions and update management on order statuses
∎ Arrange transport of goods where necessary, and track orders to ensure timely delivery
∎ Analyze market trends and apply this knowledge to make insightful buying decisions
∎ Coordinate with the inventory team, management, and finance team as required
∎ Assess the quality of stock received and escalate any discrepancies to suppliers and management
∎ Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate purchase and pricing records
∎ Maintain and update supplier information such as licenses, product range, payment terms, lead time, etc.
∎ Process claims and returns
∎ Communicate vendor concerns and/or issues to management to improve material flow efficiency
∎ Assist in identifying/depleting materials considered obsolete and excess inventory
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in the same sector (food service, retail, hospitality) is preferred
∎ Teachable and humble, open to receiving feedback and communicating recommendations with respect
∎ Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite. E.g. Word, Excel, Outlook
∎ Ability and desire to work effectively with cross functional teams
∎ Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
∎ Strong organizational skills with significant attention to detail and accuracy
∎ Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written
∎ Must be able to work under strict and competing deadlines
Salary:
∎ Tk. 52500 - 65000 (Monthly)
∎ This post falls within North End`s salary range (BDT 52,500 - 65,000) commensurate with experience and skills.
