Job Context:
∎ The company promotes and disseminates Renewable Energy Technologies in Bangladesh to generate income and to reduce the poverty of the rural people with a focus on climate change, environmental conservation, and gender equality, with an overall objective of enhancing the social bottom line.
∎ The key purpose of this position is to work to ensure quality, integrity, accountability, cost and service efficiency, and effectiveness in all Supply Chain and Logistics (Warehousing, Distribution, Transport et.) procedures and practices of the company.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Establish an integrated planning process for ensuring smooth sourcing and delivery of goods/services as per the company's requirement
∎ Source existing and new goods/materials/services in a most competitive manner and cost, meeting the required deadline
∎ Prepare a Comparative Statement (CS) for obtaining necessary approval in order to acquire goods through competitive sourcing
∎ Ensure supply and delivery of goods, as per the approved quality and specification, maintaining a smooth logistics support service
∎ Prepare, issue, and maintain the required documents, like Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order, Import L/C, shipping documents, documents related to, VAT and Tax authorities, and so on.
∎ Maintain optimum stock/inventory of goods/required materials in order to meet the monthly demand
∎ Supervise and monitor the overall activities of the Central store (maintaining a stock of goods and delivery)
∎ Ensure compliance with Purchase Policy, other relevant policies, and statutory requirements for all internal and external purchases
∎ Ensure warranty issues/claims are to be handled in an efficient manner
∎ Manage Vendor enlistment to maintain an effective pool of vendors
∎ Keep close liaison with the suppliers and users of the goods/services for smooth operation
∎ Develop and maintain an effective flow of information as required by the company
∎ Dealing and managing C&F agents for importing or exporting goods as per the company's requirement
∎ Supervise maintain and renew statutory requirements including License, IRC, and ERC along with Insurance and other similar documents
∎ Manage day-to-day interactions and relationships with Sales and Marketing, Accounting, and other departments to facilitate improvements in knowledge sharing, communication, and maintaining processes.
∎ Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
∎ Lead the procurement team and manage in terms of coordination and achieve efficiency
∎ Expedite the procurement process whenever it is urgent and requested by users.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 45 years
∎ 5 years of working experience in the Renewable Energy Sector in the supply chain/distribution/logistics department.
