Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and implement PR and marketing strategies for the Canadian University of Bangladesh (CUB)
∎ Develop contents (case stories, features, news updates, static posts, video scripts, op-eds, press releases etc.) for the news media houses, CUB website and social media channels
∎ Coordinate with the content writers for CUB's web and social media presence
∎ Analyze all media coverage of the university and drafting appropriate responses
∎ Maintain relationships with the journalist community, media personalities, celebrities, influencers, and key opinion leaders
∎ Organize different types of shoots like still photo-shoots, AV/OVC shoots etc.
∎ Organize events like job fairs and admission fairs at inside and outside of CUB
∎ Maintain the PR database, documentation of media coverage, and tracking PR metrics
∎ Produce different types of reports after every campaign, in a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ At least 5 years of relevant work experience
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Bangla and English
∎ Good in data analytics and developing marketing strategy
∎ Experience of dealing with complex scenarios and requirements
∎ Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills
∎ Experience of managing budgets
∎ Effective decision-making skills
∎ Ability to successfully conclude highly sensitive and confidential negotiations
