Job Responsibilities:
∎ Be responsible for providing the marketing team with the necessary technical expertise to enable them to promote the products. This involves printing and electronic promotional materials, product training, and relevant clinical papers.
∎ Prepare new product introduction plan along with all technical and scientific documentation required for the new products registration and furnish product development department with required scientific information on those products.
∎ Build brands with profitability by adopting appropriate planning and monitoring.
∎ Review product data to ensure that the field force is kept up-to-date on new developments regarding the companies or competitors' products.
∎ Act as point of first reference for all product related inquiries and work collaboratively with colleagues in research and to address any regulatory issue that may arise.
∎ Keep close Liaison with the field force to assess the response to and suitability of current promotional materials and to ensure that the printed promotional materials are used optimally.
∎ Design market research projects to assess customer attitudes to the current product range and new product introductions. Either conduct this research with in-house staffs or manage an outside agency, i.e., initial identification of suitable partner, definition of responsibilities, communication plan, divisions of responsibility, milestones, contract with company, review records and reports, and recommend action plans from the research.
∎ Assist with the development of the annual marketing plan and for controlling advertising, promotion and market promotion aids in accordance with the annual marketing plan.
∎ Responsible for preparing product forecasts, and constantly monitoring inventory levels held at central and inter-district warehouse/ depot including liaison with production to ensure supply timelines.
∎ Train the field staffs regarding brand promotion plan and marketing campaign along with review of implementation and execution of the market campaign.
∎ Identify competitors' activities on product promotion, product quality, product presentation etc. and take effective measures accordingly.
∎ Liaise with the advertising agency regarding the product campaign including journal advertising, direct mail and conferences.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ 12 year(s) in reputed pharmaceutical company.
∎ Having 05 years of experience in managing diabetic products will be preferred.
∎ Good business acumen, with high level of planning & organizational skills.
∎ Ability to acquire knowledge quickly and apply to diverse situations and train others to create a high level of operational excellence.
∎ Be creative and should think out of the box. Generate new ideas.
∎ Excellent product knowledge with strong scientific orientation.
∎ Have strong analytical skill using multiple types of research and market data.
∎ Excellent frontline leadership capabilities.
∎ Candidates must be proficient in both verbal and written English.
∎ Excellent IT skills - including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
∎ Candidates must be able to work independently and under time pressure.
