Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Engineering & Maintenance Management:
∎ Lead the factory engineering and maintenance team to ensure high availability and efficiency of production equipment.
∎ Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
∎ Ensure timely troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of plant machinery and utilities.
∎ Monitor and optimize energy consumption and sustainability initiatives.
∎ Oversee all mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering aspects within the factory.
∎ Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of production machinery, electrical panels, transformers, and power distribution systems.
∎ Supervise civil works related to factory infrastructure, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with safety standards.
∎ Project Management & Continuous Improvement:
∎ Plan, execute, and oversee engineering projects related to equipment installation, upgrades, and expansions.
∎ Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and increased operational efficiency.
∎ Drive Lean Manufacturing and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives.
∎ Compliance & Safety:
∎ Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
∎ Implement and maintain ISO, GMP, and other relevant industrial compliance standards.
∎ Conduct risk assessments and ensure proper safety protocols are in place.
∎ Leadership & Team Development:
∎ Manage and mentor a team of engineers, technicians, and maintenance staff.
∎ Develop training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge within the team.

∎ Prepare and manage the department's budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.

∎ Job Purpose:
∎ The Manager of Factory Engineering Department is responsible for overseeing all engineering and maintenance activities within the factory to ensure efficient operation, reliability, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
