Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 6 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Mechanical Engineering

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan and supervise Schedule maintenance of Civil machinery, Utility machinery, QC machinery and equipment.
∎ Report Department/Project head for all sorts technical issues related to Mechanical, Electrical, Power generation & utility services.
∎ Analyze problems associated with the process, design, control, flow, range of the project / machinery and take corrective measures.
∎ Record keeping and technical correspondences related to design, specs, modification & development of new project.
∎ Estimation, Requisition placement and co-ordinate with procurement department for the required materials.
∎ Prepare annual budget for Mechanical Section.
∎ Evaluate performance of employees under Mechanical Section and submit recommendations to Department / Project head.
∎ Co-ordinate with various dept & ensure smooth operation of project.
∎ Supervision of erection, commissioning of machinery.
∎ Exchange views with local / expatriate consultants to solve different problems arose from Mechanical, Auto Electrical & Pneumatic system.
∎ Prepare & submit weekly / monthly report on preventive maintenance, emergency / breakdown maintenance, overhauling & other stoppage time for the plant & machinery.
∎ Plan, implement and maintenance of systems for monitoring machine down time & identify current levels accurately and set targets and strategies to minimize it.
∎ Prepare/verify inventory of all equipment, attachments, folders, spare parts, etc. Implement a system to maintain these records
∎ Assure the service and repair of all machines and equipment to have in perfect running condition ready for production at all times
∎ To assure that the procedures are implemented to ensure the availability (that there is no waiting) of machines during style change, including a monitoring procedure.
∎ Plan the total machinery requirement including the financial implications for any expansion projects.
∎ Be aware of new technologies coming in and evaluate them against company requirements and recommend on acquiring while identifying key personnel to be trained on new arrivals
∎ Identify training needs of maintenance staff
∎ Evaluate performance of the maintenance staff
∎ Be responsible to prevent accidents and diseases
∎
