∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Candidate must have Post graduate HSE specific training and membership of recognized appropriate professional body.
∎ Should have good computer literacy.
∎ Candidate with Civil Engineering background will have preference
∎ Experience of HSE in other sectors maybe accepted, so long, there is a significant proportion of the overall total experience gained in the construction sector.
∎ Consideration maybe given to person with lower academic qualification who have a higher level of relevant experience of at last 70% of the above minimum requirement.
∎ Proven experience as HSE management role.
∎ Organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking.
∎ Good written and communication skills.
∎ Problem solving skills.
∎ Sound Knowledge in Microsoft Office, Power Point & Autocad (optional)
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ HSE culture building at site among the employees, workers and stakeholders involved.
∎ Educate workers about the company's safety policy and procedures that they need to follow strictly.
∎ Apart from construction safety, the candidate should ensure other environment protection system/process.
∎ Monitor safety performance of on-site workers.
∎ Check workers to ensure that they are wearing the right type of PPE (helmets, mask, gloves, safety shoes, jackets, safety belt etc.) before they begin their shift at site.
∎ Identify and remove unsafe or hazardous materials from the site.
∎ Ensure safe dumping of construction materials.
∎ Ensure proper protection for electrical and civil engineering works.
∎ Must be able to establish a safe Fire protection system at site.
∎ Regularly inspect and identify safety weakness/ violations and health hazards and rectify those.
∎ Perform accident investigations to gauge measures that need to be taken to prevent them for repeating next time.
∎ Carry out HSE incident investigation and reporting whenever needed.
∎ Write detailed report of on-site activities.
