Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's in in any discipline (PGD in SCM will get advantage)
∎ Diploma in Merchandising
Experience Requirements:
∎ 4 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Need to be a Sourcing Experts for fabrics & materials, specially from China & Pakistan.
∎ Of course, should be Sound Knowledge on supply chain management for sourcing all kind of home textile fabrics and accessories from China, Pakistan, India and Vietnam.
∎ Having good skills and good relation with renowned factories from China, Pakistan & others for Fabric Sourcing.
∎ Analyze the market price for different types of fabrics (100% Cotton, Polyester-Cotton, 100% polyester - Plain, Twill, Sateen, Dobby, Jacquard, Non-Woven, Taffeta, Velvet, Fleece, Micro-Fiber, etc.) from county & out-country like China, Pakistan, India and doing competitive study for the best price.
∎ Searching for new source, products and vendors which are better for the company.
∎ Communicate with Merchandising team, Commercial team as well as production team for in housing all types of raw materials like fabrics and accessories.
∎ Planning and analysis of fabric and accessories and find the alternative options for respective quality.
∎ Based on necessity (purchase requisition) collect price quotation from different enlisted suppliers, update the price list & incoterms and make comparative study (CS) to management before import any materials & services.
∎ Negotiation and contracting skills for managing a cost-effective and transparent manner in line with company policies from enlisted vendors.
∎ Keep continuous communication with all concerned dept. regarding materials, LC/order status, shipment status, vessel position, customs work process & aiming delivery date to factory side.
∎ Basic understanding on Incoterms & Import policy order of Bangladesh, UCP, ISBP guidelines & working with Bank, freight forwarder, PSI agency and C&F dealings.
∎ As - this is one of Creative position with new Innovation - treat this recruitment respectively.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
∎ Import Fabrics & Accessories, Supply Chain, Merchandising, Garments, Textile.
∎ No Need to Apply - who does not have any fabrics sourcing experience.
∎ Hardworking and able to work under pressure
∎ Strong analytical and leadership ability
∎ Self-motivated and result oriented for assigned responsibilities
∎ Good interpersonal skill and communication skills in English (Verbal & Written)
∎ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Salary: Negotiable
