∎ Masters/MBA in supply chain and PGD in supply chain will get preferance

Clearing & Forwarding (C&F) Companies
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Check Import documentation to determine cargo contents, and classify goods into different fee or tariff groups, using a tariff coding system.
∎ Custom Document assessment according to HS Code, Bill of Entry, Noting, Out Pass.
∎ Handle all shipping documents (BL / Packing list / Invoice e BL verify from respective bank.
∎ Determine Duty / RD figure, Duty requisition submits, Duty payment.
∎ Track shipments and follow up with the concern regarding vessels’ arrival dates at destination
∎ Follow up closely on the customs / clearance formalities and delivery process. Preparing all others documents of Customs & Jetty.
∎ Inspection of goods received, Short claim, Review claims resulting from missing or damaged cargo.
∎ Dealing with carrier & truck contract for special arrangements for transporting of cargo.
∎ Maintaining communication and control through all phases of the journey, including management reports and statistical and cost analysis.
∎ Maintaining current knowledge of relevant legislation, customs rules & regulations and other factors that could affect the movement of shipments.
∎ Maintain professional and proactive communication with all department staff, internal and external customers.
∎ Provides advice on maintaining and improving cost effective ways to handle custom authority and make the job more efficiently.
∎ Supervision overall C&F operational activities.

∎ Highly knowledgeable on Bangladesh Customs National Tariff, HS code. Description. CD. SD. VAT. AIT.
