Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintenance of all books/accounts/records/files relating to Bonded warehouse of imported raw materials, deal with UD of products, such as, Poly bags, Cartons, Elastic, BOPP Gum Tape, Paper Gum Tape, Sewing Threads, Duplex Board, Art Card , Ribbon , Yarn, etc.
∎ Good understanding of technicalities, in respect of nature, measures and final usages of these raw materials at the buyer's end at the point of export.
∎ Maintenance of the Bond license pursuant to the relevant Acts, namely, Customs Act, VAT Act, Bonded Warehouse Licensing Rules, SROs of NBR, Directives of Bangladesh Bank, operation of DEDO, all Audit formalities regarding operation of the Bond facility, operation of relevant Gini Co-efficient relating to UD/UP..
∎ Clear understanding of the operational relationship between the Direct Export and Deemed Export vis-à-vis the Master L/C and Back-to-Back L/C and the computer network-based interface amongst the L/C issuing /beneficiary Bank, Bond Commissioner ate, NBR, Bangladesh Bank etc.
∎ Sound Communication /People Skills having the ability to build effective functional relationship with the Merchandiser, Commercial Executives, senior management of L/C issuing Garments Factories, concerned BGMEA /BGAPMEA staff, and especially, with the Customs Bond Commissioner ate Staff.
∎ Competency level skills on Import and Deemed Export terms and formalities, In-Bond, Out-Bond procedures, understanding and application of HS code in line with the latest Budget.
∎ Renewal and Entitlement application procedures/formalities of Bond License.
∎ AIT, VAT, Excise Duty etc. issues of the company.
∎ Any other duty as may be required to perform from time to time
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 5/7 year experience as Commercial Executive (Bond) with minimum 5 year experience in handling all Bond, UD, UP matters independently. Candidates only with the skills and experience, as mentioned above, are requested to apply.
∎ Ability to Type both English and Bangla.
∎ Good (letter) drafting skills.
∎ Good understanding of English.
∎ Have good understanding of B2B L/C documentation and payment receipt processes.
∎ Have good communication and negotiation skills.
∎ Possesses Team spirit.
∎ Naturally shows innate loyalty to the company, in respect of fidelity, business interests and image of the employing company.
∎ Hardworking and able to work long hours under pressure.
∎ Work positively for furthering brand image of the company.
∎ Able to generate management report.
