∎ Experience in the large scale Knit Composite Garments and merchandising Experience will be getting preference.
∎ The applicants must have 2-3 years’ experience in the similar position.
∎ The incumbent should be dynamic and have good personality.
∎ Possess high degree of correspondence & analytical ability.
∎ Good intellect and analytical skills.
∎ Must have good presence and leadership ability.
∎ Must have excellent computer literacy.

Responsibilities & Context:

∎ Responsible for Barnali Textile & Printing Industries (Pvt.) Ltd, Barnali Collections Ltd and also for other sister concerns target oriented central purchase.
∎ Evaluating the requirement of raw materials with merchandising & costing knowledge.
∎ Procurement of raw materials on due time, compliance with SOPs, Identifying the source, negotiation of price and determining the way of payment.
∎ Follow-up of raw materials and tracking of raw material until in-house, identifying the better alternates very professionally.
∎ Analyzing PR (Purchase Requisitions), Preparing CS (Comparative Statement), and Issuing of PO (Purchase Orders) and following it up till final delivery.
∎ Establishing a solid base of suppliers, vendors & service providers for Garments Trims & Accessories, Fabrics, Yarn, supplies, spares, consumables, and commercial service providers.
∎ Check & verify the bills, and forward them to the HOD for approval. Maintain the record related to verified bills.
∎ Ensure stakeholder coordination to check the proper usages, excess stock, slow-moving items, non-moving items, dormant items, expired items, expiring items, re-order level & minimum stock level, etc. to ensure the smooth inventory control.
∎ Manage vendor and supplier selection process based on price, quality, support, capacity, and reliability.
∎ Implement effective strategies for cost efficiency & Effectiveness and process optimization in the procurement management system.
∎ Ensure regular market visits for monitoring the market price of materials, updating market intelligence, competent vendor enlisting's, etc.
∎ Coordinate with Merchandisers, Finance & Accounts, Commercial, Store, Production, and other operational stakeholder to ensure the smooth working of SCM value chain process.
∎ Keep records of all items / raw materials rate for future verification, Purchase verification according to requirements.
∎ Implementation of Budget and Budgetary Control.
∎ Assist to prepare all kind of AIS and MIS report required by the management.
