∎ Tertiary or diploma in engineering with on the job experience.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure routine preventive maintenance to all the machines of the production: e.g., sewing machine, pressing, boilers, and cutting machines
∎ Direct and supervise team effectively to minimize downtime of machines in production lines.
∎ Monitor Inspection of drives, motors, and belts, check oil levels, replace filters, and perform other maintenance actions, following checklists.
∎ Identify all new machines requirement, select, and obtain approval from the COO, Garments.
∎ Diagnose mechanical / electrical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary
∎ Examine maintenance record and repair work performed and the costs of the work
∎ Suggest appropriate attachments suited to particular style to increase productivity
∎ Ensure cost reduction by reducing all kind of wastages.
∎ Evaluate staff performance, ensure floor discipline, identify training needs and manage their career development.
∎ Ensure safety, quality and compliance activities in workplace.
∎ Ensure and maintain a clean and tidy site.
∎ Carry out any other jobs as assigned from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Very good knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
∎ Continuous improvement techniques such as Process Flow Design, TPM Standardized Work.
∎ Troubleshooting skill.
∎ Equipment maintenance knowledge and skills.
∎ Communication & Collaboration.
∎ Critical thinking & Problem solving.
∎ Positive & Proactive and Planning & Organizing.
