∎ Ability to act decisively and solve staff or equipment related problems.
∎ Capacity to grasp concepts easily.
∎ Attention to detail to ensure high levels of quality.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and motivate others to meet tight deadlines.
∎ Ability to work in a logical systemic manner.
∎ Experience in implementing lean manufacturing tools an advantage.
∎ Team Management, coordinate with the head of the Department.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The In-charge and Assistant In-charge has the responsibility of all the production of Machine & Metal Department and manufacturing Personnel, planning production to meet with customer requirements. The position will require a full understanding of solid board, metal furniture manufacturing techniques. The position will be supported by a production officer, covering purchasing, drawing office and programming roles.
∎ Ensure preventive & break down maintenance of all machine & metal section.
∎ Responsibility of Machine & Metal section(s) line all type of maintenance.
∎ Ensure/supervise installation, testing & commissioning of new machinery and maintenance work through software system
∎ Prepare Standard Operating Procedure for manufacturing metal and board furniture.
∎ Supervise and monitor the engineering and technical staff.
∎ Coordinate maintaining all statistical and financial records relating to all machinery.
∎ Counting and stacking finished product.
∎ Reading factory orders.
∎ Accurately reading gauges and other test equipment.
∎ Utilizing basic shop math Inspecting.
∎ Accurately completing quality and administrative documents and following directions.
