Educational Requirements:
∎ • B.A. Hons. in any discipline; Preferably in Information Science and Library Management
∎ • Masters or Diploma in Information Science and Library Management
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintaining serial, records and update library database
∎ Maintaining the circulation system (Issue and Return)
∎ Provide user services, including addressing inquiries and document delivery
∎ Do bibliographic checks and searches
∎ E-Resource Management
∎ Maintaining news clipping service
∎ Shelving and filing of library materials, including audio-visual materials
∎ Knowledge on Library Management System
∎ Skills on cataloging and classification of books, reports and documents using library of congress subject descriptors and the Dewey decimal classification system
∎ Job Location: Dhanmondi, Dhaka
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 24 to 30 years
∎ Internet Browsing skills
∎ Teamwork capability
∎ Good communication skills in English
∎ Must have good knowledge of Microsoft Office 2007 & Upgrade Version of Windows
∎ Scan documents
∎ Performing other relevant duties as required.
Salary: Tk. 20000 - 25000 (Monthly)
