Educational Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Preparing questions, invigilating tests and exams, marking and grading scripts and assignments;
∎ guiding and supervising project work, internships, dissertations, and theses as and when assigned;
∎ guiding and supervising students as they perform co-curricular and extracurricular activities;
∎ attending meetings of the university as and when invited;
∎ Working as a "Faculty Representative" at different events and activities of the university when detailed;
∎ Providing assistance in different activities of the university when called upon to do so;
∎ Carry out administrative tasks initiated by the teacher or assigned by the department, faculty, or university, or as directed by the highest authority;
∎ Monitoring and reporting on the implementation of the strategic policy plan for the respective school;
∎ ensuring academic discipline and standards, as well as the report on other matters, including the student affairs of Canadian University Bangladesh, performs. responsibilities as per the Private University Act of 2010;
∎ teaching courses in their subject area and to assess students' progress by grading papers, tests, and other work;
∎ conducting research and experiments to advance knowledge in their field;
∎ serving on academic and administrative committees that review and recommend policies, make budget decisions, or advise on hiring and promotions within their department;
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 24 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Professor: Ph.D. with 12 years of experience in relevant disciplines at the university level and 15 publications in internationally recognized journals.
∎ Associate Professor: Ph.D. with 8 years of experience in a relevant discipline at the university level, including at least 4 years as an assistant professor and 5 publications in internationally recognized journals.
∎ Lecturer: 2 years’ experience and 1 publication in reputed journals.
