Job Responsibilities:
∎ Take all necessary measures for the proper conduct of your academic duties, including preparing course outlines, course calendars, and lesson plans; conducting theoretical, tutorial, and practical classes; and providing any additional form of instruction, research, or counseling (e.g., field training) pertinent to the discharge of academic instruction when required or appropriate.
∎ Provide proper academic and professional advising or counseling to your designated advisees and to students in any of your courses. You must supervise and guide students' work and activities inside and outside classrooms. You must monitor the performance and progress of all your advisees as well as any student in your class on a regular basis. This necessitates being available for advising for a reasonable number of hours per week.
∎ Evaluate students' achievements and maintain their cumulative records.
∎ guide and conduct research, both for pure academic purposes and to develop new teaching materials, and supervise students' research works.
∎ Organize lectures, seminars, and/or symposia related to different courses and programs of study in your school or in other schools, if and when appropriate.
∎ Advise and recommend development plans for the school or the university when requested, and help devise and execute relevant plans.
∎ Supervise or organize co-curricular activities essential to the professional growth of the students in your school and/or department.
∎ Contribute to overall university life by participating in any development activities to which you are invited and by participating in academic and non-academic events at the university, including ceremonies and functions at the university and especially within your school.
∎ You are expected to take on responsibilities related to academic administration as required by VC and PVC (e.g., advising, admission-related duties, grade verification, supervision of a project or internship).
∎ Perform any other responsibilities that may be assigned to you by the university, including those of a departmental, school, or activity coordinator.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 24 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Professor: Ph.D. with 12 years of experience in relevant disciplines at the university level and 15 publications in internationally recognized journals.
∎ Associate Professor: Ph.D. with 8 years of experience in a relevant discipline at the university level, including at least 4 years as an assistant professor and 5 publications in internationally recognized journals.
∎ Lecturer: 2 years’ experience and 1 publication in reputed journals.
