Job Responsibilities:
∎ To prepare course outlines, course calendars, lesson plans, and tutorial schedules for students and conduct theoretical and practical classes.
∎ To prepare questions, invigilate tests and exams, and mark and grade scripts and assignments.
∎ To guide and supervise project work, internship, dissertation, or thesis as and when assigned.
∎ Guide and supervise students as they participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
∎ Attend meetings of the University as and when required.
∎ Work as a "Faculty Representative" at different events and activities of the university as detailed.
∎ Carry out administrative tasks initiated by the teacher himself/herself or assigned by the department, faculty, or the university or under the instruction of the top authority.
∎ To monitor and report on the implementation of the strategic policy plan for the respective school.
∎ To ensure academic discipline and standards, as well as report on other matters, including the student affairs of Canadian University Bangladesh, and perform responsibilities as per the Private University Act 2010.
∎ To teach courses in their subject area and to assess students' progress by grading papers, tests, and other work.
∎ To conduct research and experiments to advance knowledge in their field.
∎ To serve on academic and administrative committees that review and recommend policies and budgets or advise on hiring and promotions within their department.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 24 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Professor: Ph.D. with 12 years of experience in relevant disciplines at the university level and 15 publications in internationally recognized journals.
∎ Associate Professor: Ph.D. with 8 years of experience in a relevant discipline at the university level, including at least 4 years as an assistant professor and 5 publications in internationally recognized journals.
∎ Lecturer: 2 years’ experience and 1 publication in reputed journals.
