Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Sample Collection: Collecting blood, urine, tissue, and other samples from patients for testing.
∎ Sample Preparation: Preparing specimens for analysis by labeling, processing, and preserving them as required.
∎ Conducting Tests: Performing a variety of laboratory tests on samples to detect diseases or abnormalities.
∎ Operating Equipment: Using specialized laboratory equipment and instruments to analyze samples and ensure accurate results.
∎ Recording Data: Documenting test results and maintaining detailed records of all tests performed.
∎ Reporting Findings: Communicating test results to doctors and other healthcare professionals promptly.
∎ Maintaining Equipment: Cleaning, calibrating, and maintaining laboratory equipment to ensure it functions properly.
