Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Operating Imaging Equipment: Using X-ray, MRI, CT, and other imaging machines to capture images of patients' internal structures.
∎ Patient Positioning: Properly positioning patients to ensure clear and accurate images.
∎ Following Safety Protocols: Adhering to radiation safety guidelines to protect patients, themselves, and others from excessive exposure.
∎ Preparing Patients: Explaining procedures to patients to alleviate anxiety and ensure cooperation.
∎ Image Quality Control: Reviewing images for clarity and quality before sending them to doctors for interpretation.
∎ Maintaining Equipment: Regularly cleaning, calibrating, and maintaining imaging equipment to ensure it operates correctly.
∎ Documentation: Keeping accurate records of imaging procedures and patient information.
