Location: The post will be based at the field level of Dhaka city corporation.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform mWRDs/ Microscopy testing for presumptive and ongoing TB patients
Perform HIV and COVID-19 screening of TB patients
Maintain essential safety precautions during sample collection, while working in the lab and during disposal of potentially infectious materials (waste management)
Ensure quality assurance of reagents and other health products
Conduct outreach center for sample collection
Keep record and prepare proper necessary reports (i.e., ASPECT, e-TB Manager, TBCP software etc.) timely
Reconcile both physical stock with register and TBCP software
Assure regular indent, supply of reagents and other logistics, proper storage and ensure maintenance of GeneXpert/ Truenat/ Microscope with proper documentation (i.e., logbook etc.)
Extensive visits to the peripheral labs and guidance for better improvement (for EQA staff)
Quality assurance of the random slides and provide feedback report to the respective laboratories in a regular basis (for EQA staff)
Practice and promote organization’s gender policy and support implementation of gender equality and women empowerment at all levels
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the organization’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
Accept relocation of the work station or transfer anywhere based on the need of the project
