Job Context:

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Bangladesh University is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented lab assistant. The lab assistant will be responsible for supporting faculty and students in conducting lab experiments, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring the safety and organization of the lab environment. This role is crucial in helping students gain hands-on experience and practical knowledge in electrical engineering.

Job Description / Responsibility:

• Assist in Lab Sessions: Support faculty and students during lab sessions by preparing materials and setting up equipment.

• Equipment Maintenance and Calibration: Regularly check, maintain, and calibrate lab equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.

• Safety Management: Enforce safety protocols and procedures within the lab, ensuring a safe environment for students and staff.

• Inventory Management: Track and manage lab supplies, equipment, and materials, ordering replacements as necessary to ensure a well-stocked lab.

• Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of lab usage, experiment outcomes, and equipment maintenance for accurate documentation.

• Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Concern Department from time to time.
