Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Gather, analyze, and conclude project requirements, design drawings, specifications, etc.
∎ Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and Cost Estimates
∎ Identify and quantify cost factors, including production time, materials, and labor expenses.
∎ Collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, clients, and subcontractors.
∎ Conduct Value Engineering and Alternative Costing to optimize project efficiency.
∎ Prepare detailed reports or bids for submission to relevant parties.
∎ Possess extensive knowledge and experience in estimating labor costs, time, and construction materials from local and international markets, covering MEP, Civil, and Architectural works
∎ Prepare BOQs, including project item descriptions, preambles, and pricing of items.
∎ Create BOQ templates in the required format, with familiarity in Uniformat or Master Format
∎ Prepare project specifications adhering to the required format
∎ Manage contracts efficiently, demonstrating in-depth knowledge and experience in the Method of Measurements (M.O.M)
∎ Provide recommendations, advice, and suggest revisions to specification documents
∎ Conduct comprehensive reviews of drawings and project information to write and edit specifications, ensuring compliance with project requirements, institutional guidelines, technical conditions, standards, and relevant laws and codes
∎ Translate project design requirements into materials, methods, equipment, procedures, installation, and certification testing necessary for the development of narrative descriptions in tender documents and contract documents.
∎ We are seeking a dynamic Junior Project Engineer with a passion for real estate construction to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in project development by performing the following duties:
