∎ Junior Midwifery Course

Experience Requirements:
∎ At most 1 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Measure vital sign like blood pressure, temperature etc
∎ Administer oral medications along with S/C, I/D and I/M injections.
∎ Prepare consultant round trolley.
∎ Help patient use the washroom/bathroom.
∎ Clean and assist patients in their activities of daily living.
∎ Maintain patient hygiene and change bedding and provide morning care.
∎ Turn, reposition and move patient as and when require as per protocol, and between wheelchair seat, stretcher to bed.
∎ Serve meal and help patients eat their food.
∎ Listen to patients regarding any health concerns they might have and report detail to a staff Nurse/ unit supervisor /Doctor.
∎ Cleaning of patients surroundings like patient's bed, bed side locker, round trolley etc.
∎ Disinfectant and re-set up medical equipment (like dressing set, CVP set).
∎ Help in checking and counting medication along with staff nurse
∎ Answer the call light/bell and attend to patient needs and call staff nurse in case of emergency
∎ Address patient concerns and queries professionally.
∎ Giving suppository and enema along with PCA
∎ Prepare patient for procedure like clipping and Clean for Operation/ procedure along with PCA
∎ Assist in dead body care and carry the dead body to the mortuary along with PCA
∎ Ensure safety and quality in patient services and maintain confidentiality of patient medical records.
∎ Build positive working relationships with patients and their families.

∎ Age at most 30 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
