Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Engineering in Civil Engineering
∎ Completed at least 1 similar kind of project as finishing/fit out engineer, with technical education 3 years diploma or 4 years degree course in Civil.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain and interpret drawings (finishes, fit out) finishing schedules, door window schedule and other coordinated drawings and schedules.
∎ Be able to use instruments, auto level instruments, lasers.
∎ Ensure works are carried out as per the GFC drawings and specification, work method statements, technical data sheets.
∎ Maintain records, site diary, quality assurance documentation and other reports.
∎ Ensure gangs/manpower are working correctly, and monitor /cross check their daily output, and workmanship of all executed works.
∎ Communicate with the Site coordinator/Sr. Engineer and rest of the site team and assist in organizing the site execution in manner to achieve the desired progress of works, required strength of required manpower and timely submission of material requisitions.
∎ Be able to attend meetings/deal with the sub-contractor/suppliers/inspectors if the QAQC Engineer/manager in absence of Sr. Engineer.
∎ Be a point of contact for site supervisors and sub-contractors to assist with the progression of works, help them to understand and interpret the drawings, schedules etc.
∎ Be able to organize labor/ sub-contractors / plants / materials to achieve programme dates.
∎ Ensure all Health and Safety matters are carried out/completed and maintained.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in a similar field will be preferred.
