Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Cleanliness and Hygiene: Ensure that all food supply areas are maintained in a clean, hygienic, and safe condition. Conduct regular inspections to uphold sanitation standards in food preparation and storage areas.
∎ Logistics and Event Support: Coordinate and ensure the availability of food and refreshments for university meetings, seminars, and other events.Plan and oversee the timely delivery of catering services as per event requirements.
∎ Canteen and Food Store: Oversight Supervise the operations of the university canteen and other food outlets on campus. Monitor staff performance and ensure compliance with service standards.
∎ Quality and Affordability: Ensure that students have access to high-quality, nutritious food at reasonable prices across campus facilities and dormitories. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to maintain cost-effective food procurement while ensuring quality.
∎ Student-Centred Service: Gather and respond to feedback from students to improve food services. Foster a welcoming and supportive dining environment for all university members.
