Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters/ Bachelor degree in accounting from any reputed university.

Job Context:
∎ Job Title: Intern, Finance and Admin Department
∎ Responsible to: Finance Officer/Finance Manager
∎ Duration: November 2021 to April 2022 (6 Months).

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Financial Management and Accounts Keeping
∎ Assist to Finance and Admin Manager/ Officer to prepare financial documents such as salary, tax filings, and monthly banking reports.
∎ Assist to Finance and Admin Manager/ Officer to prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, invoices, and other documents.
∎ Prepare salary sheet, petty cash requisition, cheque (s) along with support by relevant voucher (s) as per the time schedule.
∎ Prepare and posting of all vouchers (Debit, Credit, Transfer and Journal) supported by relevant appropriate documents.
∎ Filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
∎ Administrative Tasks:
∎ Update and maintain employee files by inputting new employee contact information and employment details ensuring safety and confidentiality.
∎ Assist in screening forms and resumes of applicants, schedule and confirm interviews with short-listed candidates and conduct reference checking.
∎ Assist to ensure that all stock items are procured as per procurement policy and well documented.
∎ Assist to Finance and Admin Manager/ Officer to verify the fixed assets physically and update accordingly.
∎ Provide all types of support during training/workshop/meeting period.
∎ Coordination, Collaboration and Networking:
∎ Participate in regular staff meetings (weekly, monthly and need basis).
∎ Assist to maintain good relationships with NGO Affair Bureau and other relevant stakeholders in the programme locations.
∎ Accountability and Safeguarding:
∎ Maintain a gender-sensitive approach in all stages of office management.
∎ Other duties & responsibilities as assigned by the management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Freshers, People who have prior experience in development sector will get preference.
∎ Well conversant in common IT applications (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, internet browsing & email communications)
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to establish and maintain effective working atmosphere.
∎ Good working relationship with colleagues, partners, external actors and allies
∎ Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, priorities workload and 'multitask'

Salary: Tk. 9000 - 10000 (Monthly)
