Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Prepare, review, and validate comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for interior and exterior projects.
∎ Analyze architectural and MEP drawings to ensure precise quantity take-offs.
∎ Work closely with design, procurement, and execution teams to ensure BOQs are technically and commercially sound.
∎ Develop and manage project Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) breakdowns to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
∎ Continuously monitor and control project costs from initiation to closure.
∎ Identify and mitigate cost overruns through value engineering and negotiation with suppliers/vendors.
∎ Generate COGS reports for senior management with variance analysis between estimated vs. actual costs.
∎ Coordinate with site teams to ensure execution aligns with the BOQ and cost control measures.
∎ Assist in procurement planning to match project schedules and BOQ requirements.
∎ Conduct periodic site inspections to verify quantities and ensure material usage is within budget.
∎ Prepare project cost and performance reports for strategic decision-making.
∎ Recommend cost-saving measures based on project data and post-project evaluations.
∎ Prepare and track project timelines using MS Project to ensure project milestones are met.
∎ Any other tasks as assigned by the Managing Director.
