Educational Requirements:
∎ 4- Years Diploma in Marine Engineering or B. Sc in Marine Engineering from any reputed university with minimum CGPA- 3.00
∎ Must have First Class/ Division or GPA 3.5 in SSC and HSC or Diploma
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct the classes of 4-Years Diploma in engineering level
∎ To take of class tests, quizzes and Exams
∎ Prepare lectures plan and lecture materials, prepare assignment and conduct exams etc.
∎ Checking the exam scripts
∎ Prepare the final results.
∎ To monitor student discipline
∎ Upload the results in NIET Support System Software.
∎ Any other task assigned by the Authority.
∎ Outstanding communication skill & impression management
∎ Candidate should have good communication skills.
∎ Relevant experience in the teaching field
∎ Good subject knowledge.
∎ The candidate should have a pleasant personality, honest, smart & hardworking, excellent interpersonal communication skill.
∎ Evaluate student's assignments and written works.
∎ Advising and counselling students
∎ Participating in policy making
∎ Conducting research and training activities.
∎ Contributing to the area of service to the BTEB and community
∎ Participating at different committees assigned by the Principal and vice-principal.
∎ Ensuring quality assurance
∎ All academic responsibilities related to students exam, parents dealing and other duties as the position required
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Sound subject & Syllabus knowledge.
∎ Excellent skills in MS-Office application
∎ Training on teaching-methodology will be given extra preference too.
∎ Must have knowledge of effective classroom management strategies
∎ Experience in teaching BTEB is curriculum added advantage.
∎ Good interpersonal skills, energetic and able to work under pressure.
∎ Must be self-motivated and enthusiastic, able to work in stressful situations
∎ Strong Leadership skill
∎ Adaptable and able to work pressure independently.
∎ Decision Making/Problem Solving
∎ Active participation in Institute events
∎ Excellent planning and organizing skills
∎ Punctual, sincere, and hard worker
∎ Ability to work independently
