Job Context:
∎ A renowned business conglomerate in Bangladesh is also the sole distributor of an internationally favored brand of lubricants, offering all kinds of lubricants, greases, coolants and functional fluids solutions.
∎ They are expanding their business throughout the country. The company is now looking for a capable, energetic and proactive individual at plant to fill the position of In - Charge Warehouse.
∎ Responsible for implementation of production processes and procedures, leading productivity improvements with project-based activities, including new product introduction and manufacturing cell design to reduce waste, improve quality and safety, and reduce operating costs. Manage KPIs and ensure preventative actions are taken to maximize success. Work on many phases or sub-tasks of projects or entire projects of moderate complexity, with results impacting on project completion. Work under general supervision, reviewed at project milestones and/or on completion by Senior Management.
∎ Department: Warehouse
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee receiving operation for RM & PM, warehousing, quality ensuring, documentation, distribution, Transport communication.
∎ Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with SOP and prepare WIM in line with the SOP.
∎ Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements. Setup layout with product tracking in W/H and ensure efficient space utilization.
∎ Manage Workplace Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) procedures to ensure department compliance with regulations by performing periodic SHE risks assessment.
∎ Manage stock control, prepare and submit to stake holders at the end of the day and reconcile with data storage system.
∎ Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies.
∎ Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc) as per IMS guideline.
∎ Plan work schedule, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results.
∎ Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.
∎ Other activities as instructed by the Plant Manager.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 4 - 5 years' experience in lube oil manufacturing preferred.
∎ Lube oil industry, FMCG preferrable.
∎ Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
Salary: Negotiable
