Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Higher Secondary Certificate (with at least 7 years practical experience) from a recognized college/university/institution.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 7 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Execution of routine, predictive and corrective maintenance activities as per the scheduled
∎ Assist Supervisor/Engineer in job planning & preparation
∎ Participate in safety meetings and safety program to ensure Safety focus in job execution
∎ Participate in SMART projects to improve plant reliability & availability
∎ Ensure reliability and availability of equipment repaired by adhering to vendor's manual and good job practices.
∎ Assist Supervisor/Engineer in spares planning and procurement, spares verification.
∎ Updating Supervisor/Engineer on job progress and improvement activities
∎ Participating in plant walkabout program for safety and equipment health monitoring
∎ Maintaining workshop in clean condition and tracking consumable material status.
∎ Be vigilant in the work area, identify and report to their Supervisors about imminent dangers / hazards / concerns to environment, health and safety.
∎ Always follow the standard operations control procedures.
∎ Follow sound environment health and safety practices on and off duty.
∎ Perform task as assigned by immediate supervisor as and when required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 5-7 years experiences in a power plant or similar industry with power plant (Turbine and Boiler) or Utilities Plant.
∎ Computer Literacy in MS Office.
∎ Practical knowledge and its application to modern power and water plant.
∎ Must have exposure and hands on to work independently for LV/HV switchgear, LV/HV Transformers, motors, control circuit trouble shooting, lighting, HVAC, Battery, MOVs, excitation system, battery chargers and UPS, DC system, use of modern testing instruments (current injection kits/meggers/ducters/ratio test kits/ct/pt testing/breaker analyzer etc), wiring modification etc.
∎ Must be familiar with electrical safety.
∎ Must be able to read and understand electrical drawings, control ckt drawings.
∎ Working knowledge of CMMS.
∎ Working Knowledge both in English & Bangla.
