Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Respective field
∎ B. Sc. and Govt. recognized full-time one-year duration Degree / Diploma Course in Safety Engineering /ADIS OR
∎ International qualifications like CSP (Certified Safety Professional), NEBOSH, MIOSH, MSISO, etc. OR
∎ Any Graduate or diploma holder with number of years of work experience in full-fledged SHE department of any Public Sector / Leading Private Sector / MNC / - Case to case basis
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: Certified Safety Professional,NEBOSH

Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 8 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Bridge and Road Construction Monitoring, Light Engineering and Heavy Industry, Railways
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (Light Engineering & Heavy Industry), Transportation

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensuring and prepared that the detailed requirements of the Project HSE Plan are implemented across the project.
∎ Manage and organize the general activities of site safety and give guidance to Section Managers.
∎ Initiate safety training programs.
∎ Provide support to the construction department for implementation of the project Safety Plan.
∎ Provide leadership, planning, and motivation in the implementation of Environment, Health& Safety and loss control.
∎ Assist in the development and the review of procedures and systems designed to facilitate safe work.
∎ Developing, regularly reviewing and, as appropriate, revising the project Safety plan to ensure that it continues to meet the specific requirements of the project.
∎ Establishing a monitoring regime to ensure that unsafe systems, places or practices are identified and remedied at the earliest.
∎ Ensure that all reportable accidents and serious incidents are reported to Project Management and the Employer's Representative.
∎ Handling sub-contractor safety officers/ Engineers for site activities as per HSE Plan
∎ Liaison with the Chief HSE manager, conduct investigation of all fatal, lost time accidents, significant first aid cases, near misses accident and damage to property or equipment. Complete and analyze each accident investigation report.
∎ Ensuring that the attendance at safety meetings is comprehensive and appropriate.
∎ Ensure that the minutes of such meetings assign actions and timings to named individuals and are promptly distributed to all relevant personnel.
∎ Submission of monthly HSE Report to GEC Engineer
∎ Conduct HSE audit for the project.

∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Strong technical and organizational skills
∎ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
∎ Ability to develop relationships with clients and other consultants.
∎ In-depth knowledge in pursuing accreditation with international quality standards, such as ISO.

Salary: Negotiable

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Salary Review: Yearly
∎ Festival Bonus: 2
∎ Festival bonus will be paid after six months of continuous service.
