Education:

• Bachelor/Honors

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field.

Diploma in Housekeeping/Hotel Management will also be considered.

Requirements:

Skills Required: Housekeeping,Leadership and Good Communication skill.

Responsibilities & Context:

• Ensure public areas, corridor, picture frame, and entrance glass door, outside corridors doctor’s elevator, back areas are always clean and tidy as per the standard.

• Ensure before start duty check the supervisors log book written by AM, PM & night shift supervisors and take a note of anything written such as Maintenance issue, anything to be moved from the rooms as per patients request /any damage or missing report.

• Ensure distributing of the work on equitable basis & correct using of chemicals and patient supplies.

• Ensure supervising and organizing of housekeeping department, responsible for cleaning of all patients’ rooms, doctor’s room, offices, mosque, conference hall, staircase lobby, wash rooms, toilets, and all areas of the hospital.

• Ensure Organizing and supervising a day, periodical if special cleaning as instructed by the in charge of other superior.

• Ensure checking the cleanliness of all vacant & patient rooms and other area according to the check list

• Ensure that all the staff start and finish their duties at the exact time as set by the In charge.

• Supervise meal periods and ensure that every employee goes for meal in turn and return at the reasonable time .so that the operation is not hampered.

• Ensure report maintenance work daily if anything has to be repaired or replaced.

• Ensure proper handling of departmental keys and dealing with the lost & found items.

• Checking of the condition of all furniture, fixtures & linens.

• Under take any job delegated by the In Charge or other superior.
