Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Clean guest rooms, lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other assigned areas.
∎ Dust, vacuum, mop floors, and clean surfaces.
∎ Change linens, make beds, and replace towels and toiletries.
∎ Restock housekeeping carts with supplies and linens for the next shift.
∎ Monitor inventory levels of cleaning products and toiletries and report shortages.
∎ Wash, dry, fold, and iron linens and towels as needed.
∎ Sort and distribute clean linens.
∎ Follow health and safety guidelines, especially for handling cleaning chemicals.
∎ Ensure that rooms and public areas meet sanitary standards.
∎ Report any damages, repairs needed, or maintenance issues to management.
∎ Keep a log of completed tasks and document any lost or damaged items.
∎ Interact professionally and courteously with guests, responding to their needs.
∎ Address guest requests for extra towels, linens, or room services promptly.
∎ Perform deep cleaning tasks periodically (e.g., cleaning windows, curtains, etc.).
∎ Assist with room setups for events or special occasions.
∎ 1. Cleaning Duties
