Requirements:

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ ⁠Develop and execute procurement strategies tailored for sourcing products from local and abroad, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards.
∎ Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms, pricing, and contracts to secure competitive rates and compliance with regulatory standards.
∎ Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to importing goods from China, including BSTI approval, customs procedures, and other necessary certifications.  Customs and Logistics Management: Collaborate with freight forwarders and customs brokers to facilitate smooth import processes, overseeing documentation, tariffs, duties, and clearance procedures.
∎ Conduct rigorous quality assessments and inspections of procured items to uphold design specifications, regulatory compliance, and client expectations.
∎ Monitor and manage project budgets related to procurement activities, tracking expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high standards of product quality and compliance.
∎ Maintain accurate procurement records, prepare comprehensive purchase orders, reports, and documentation essential for regulatory compliance, project tracking, and financial reporting.
∎ We are seeking a proficient Interior Design Firm Procurement Specialist with specialized knowledge in Materials and sourcing. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in procurement, encompassing expertise in navigating legal requirements, government regulations, BSTI approval (Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution), and Logistic supports.
