Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Supervise daily construction activities for highways and bridges, ensuring that work is carried out according to design specifications and project plans.
∎ Monitor work quality to ensure compliance with engineering standards and specifications.
∎ Ensure that construction schedules are followed and that any delays or issues are promptly addressed.
∎ Verify that all construction work meets quality standards and adheres to engineering specifications and regulations.
∎ Keep detailed records of construction activities, progress, materials used, and any changes or issues encountered.
∎ Track project costs and expenditures, ensuring they remain within budget.
∎ Report any budget overruns or cost-related issues to project managers.
∎ Supervise routine and preventive maintenance activities for highways and bridges to ensure they remain in good condition.
