∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Construction firm (Road Highway)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Play a vital role in supervising and monitoring the construction issues of the running roads and highway projects.
∎ On-site supervision of the work being carried out and be involved with technicians in looking at elements like surface texture and road junction design.
∎ Supervise engineering works for the selected roads and other structures including bridges.
∎ Provide inputs into the design process, prepare the Bill of Quantities as per the final design drawings and calculate the final quantities.
∎ Review the contractor's work programs, resources, schedule, and project implementation plans. Ensure that the contractors/site supervisors comply with their work plans and complete the work within the specified time frame.
∎ Assist in the preparation of tender documents and evaluation of tenders and the preparation and finalization of contracts for construction and rehabilitation works.
∎ If required, develop or review geometric design from the survey results using AutoCAD, Civil CAD, and other appropriate programs.
∎ Monitor construction and rehabilitation work, including environmental mitigation and safety plans in accordance with contractual agreements;
∎ Assess the work activities for which labor-based construction methods are appropriate and for those sections for which heavy machinery is appropriate; establish a cost estimate for the rehabilitation and construction works for roads & bridges;
∎ Ensuring that projects are delivered in time and within budget.
∎ Make any necessary changes to the design drawings as per the site conditions.
