Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Civil Engineering
∎ Excellent skills in latest technical documentation preparation like construction methodology & specification.
∎ Must be proficient with Microsoft Aconex.
∎ Skills Required: Excellent interpersonal skills, Good communication skills, MICROSOFT OFFICE, MS Project
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 20 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Clear understanding of FIDIC Contracts and Bid Evaluation Process.
∎ Controlling Notice of Claim in accordance with FIDIC Contract. (EOT, VO, PA, other Claims).
∎ Generating draft for all contractual correspondence in accordance with Conditions of Contract (FIDIC). Correspondence and liaison with Supervision Consultant & different authorities pursuant to Line of Communications and schedule of delegation.
∎ Attending Weekly meetings, Progress Meetings, Contract Meetings on recurrence basis.
∎ Should have experience regarding IPC claims procedures for international projects.
∎ Responding to complex inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions.
∎ Reviewing and managing contractual obligations and providing a holistic view to ensure that all terms and conditions are met.
∎ Preparing and disseminating information regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, etc.
∎ Responsible for implementation of CM processes.
∎ To act as the primary contact between the Contractor and Client ensuring that all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly.
∎ Developing and integrating contract management tools, templates, methods and processes for the respective work. Keeping track of records/documentation (variation notice, Shop drg, sample approval, work order, progress, request for information etc.)
∎ Visiting Ministries, Consultant and Project Director's Office and acting as liaison between Consultant, Client, and Contractor.
∎ Capacity of dealing with large volume of data rearrangement and maintaining confidentiality.
∎ Contemporary record for extension of Time Claim Monitoring, Variation Tracking and Document Preparation.
∎ Rate analysis for BoQ preparation and revised rate for variation orders as per engineer circular/instruction.
∎ Collecting daily site diary from site to prepare Extension of Time. Prepare EoT as per design changes in engineer circulars, site possession, strikes, festivals, extreme climatic condition to avoid liquidity damages and consultant supervision cost.
∎ Understanding of price adjustment, work program, budgeting and auditing as required under the Contract.
∎ Follow up Interim Payment Certificate (IPC) related activities.
∎ Frequent meetings with clients/consultants/foreign personnel on monthly basis at Consultant Head Quarter.
∎ Issuing Complain letter to Higher Supervisor against responsible persons for bad workmanship.
∎ Generating principles/ways for different types of claims, variation orders.
∎ Capacity of handling dispute resolution procedure.
∎ Knowledge on local legislation, taxation and laws of Bangladesh.
∎ Following up contractual obligations with Suppliers, Vendors, sub-contractor as per Sub Contract Agreement/PO.
∎ Maintaining superfluous communication between site Team and Top Management (HQ).
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Must have at least 20 years of total experience.
∎ At least 10 years of experience in Contract Management field, preferably FIDIC Contract.
∎ Projects funded by JICA, ADB, World Bank.
