Educational Requirements:
∎ MBA / Master's degree in any discipline from any reputed Public/ Private University.
∎ Professional degree in Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Sourcing and engaging capable and reliable suppliers and vendors to ensure purchases / procurement is done so that
∎ Timelines are met
∎ Most competitive prices are achieved
∎ Purchased products meet the required quality standards.
∎ Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
∎ Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
∎ Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
∎ Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
∎ Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
∎ Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
∎ Prepare deed of agreements in connection to a series of specific procurements covering a certain span of time or a future procurement towards the protection of our interests.
∎ Formulate procurement plan for raw materials and chemicals to ensure uninterrupted production in the factories.
∎ Coordinate all procurement activities with PMD / Factory as required to ensure smooth execution.
∎ Maintain Procurement Database.
∎ Any other tasks related to foreign procurement.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ The candidate having the experience in Pharmaceutical or Medicine Companies will get preference.
∎ The candidate have should have 5 to 6 years experience in similar position.
∎ The candidate should have the experience in supply chain management.
∎ Must have excellent negotiation skills
∎ Able to handle multitasking activities.
∎ Good persuasion & communication skills.

∎ Business : Kumudini Pharma is a concern of Kumudini Welfare Trust of Bengal (BD) Limited. Kumudini Welfare Trust was founded by R P Shaha in June 1947. He was born poor, became very wealthy through his business ventures only to give away all his wealth voluntarily. Between 1938 and 1944 R P Shaha had set up a free dispensary, a 750-bed free hospital named Kumudini Hospital. He established Bharateswari Homes, Kumudini Girls’ College and Debendra College. In 1944 he donated an amount of Rs. 2,50,000/- to the British Red Cross. R P Shaha and his only son were abducted by the Pakistan Army and their collaborators in 1971. They never returned. Along with the hospital, the Trust now runs a Women’s Medical College, a Nursing School and a Nursing College. Funds required for running the welfare activities are obtained from the income generating units of the Trust like jute press and warehouse, garments industry, pharmaceuticals, river transportation, handicrafts etc.
