Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Monitor and control the sourcing budget to ensure cost-efficiency while maintaining high standards of quality across all purchasing activities.
∎ Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies for both garment-specific materials and general goods and services, aligned with company objectives.
∎ Run the Sourcing function of the company with diligence to support strategic and financial goals·
∎ Regularly monitor inventory levels and recommend appropriate replenishment strategies to support business needs.
∎ Oversee the procurement of raw materials, fabrics, trims, and other key components for garment production, ensuring adherence to quality and specification standards.
∎ Build and maintain strong relationships with garment-specific suppliers, negotiating favorable terms for the company.
∎ Manage the procurement of office supplies, equipment, services, and other non-garment related items, ensuring optimal value for the company.
∎ Supervise contracts and relationships with general suppliers and service providers.
∎ Identify, assess, and cultivate strong relationships with key suppliers for both garment-specific and general procurement needs.
∎ Manage the process of supplier selection and evaluation including Negotiate contracts.
∎ Implement cost-saving measures without compromising on quality.
∎ Oversee the entire supply chain for both garment materials and general procurement items, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing disruptions.
∎ Identify and address potential risks within the supply chain for both garment-specific and general procurement activities.
∎ Develop contingency plans to manage supply chain disruptions.
∎ Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
∎ Conduct regular audits to verify supplier compliance with company standards.
∎ Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
∎ Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and new suppliers for both garment materials and general goods.
∎ Provide regular reports to senior management on procurement activities, cost savings, supplier performance, and market insights.
