∎ Minimum 12-15 years of progressive experience in international shipping and logistics, with at least 5-7 years in leadership roles.
∎ Proven experience in managing and optimizing complex global supply chains, preferably within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
∎ Proficiency in using logistics software and tools, the applicant must have vast knowledge on ERP software.
∎ Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and incoterms.
∎ Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
∎ Strong leadership, team-building analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee all aspects of the shipping process, including order fulfillment, transportation, warehousing, customs clearance, chartering operations, port operations, tender bidding, marine equipment sourcing and purchasing, vessel chartering and contract administration.
∎ Ensure that services are being delivered as per agreement and process documentations are up-to-date as per the company and the maritime standards for all processes under Marine Operations.
∎ Negotiate and build strong relationships with shipping carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners.
∎ Optimize transportation routes and modes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency while ensuring timely delivery.
∎ Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and improve logistics performance, such as on-time delivery, cost per unit, and customer satisfaction.
∎ Develop and implement a robust system for tracking shipments and resolving any potential delays or issues proactively.
∎ Develop and implement comprehensive shipping and logistics strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives and market demands.
∎ Conduct market research and analysis to identify and evaluate new logistics solutions and technologies.
∎ Develop and implement an effective risk management framework to mitigate potential disruptions to the supply chain.
∎ Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry best practices, including customs regulations, trade agreements, and safety standards.
∎ Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify and address potential compliance and risk issues.
∎ Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of logistics professionals, including managers, supervisors, and operational staff.
∎ Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
∎ Prepare regular reports and presentations on logistics performance, key findings, and recommendations to senior management.
∎ Effectively communicate with internal and external affairs including customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
∎ Perform basic office management duties as requested.
∎ To perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Top Management.
