Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Marine Engineering / Maritime Science from any reputed university / Marine Academy.
∎ Candidate having Certificate of Competency (C.O.C) -3 will be given preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Major Job Responsibilities / Job Description (Listed below but not limited to):
∎ Plan and implement overall shipping and logistics strategy;
∎ Supervise and oversee shipping and logistics team members;
∎ Negotiate better pricing;
∎ Identify shipping issues and implement solutions in a timely manner;
∎ Create and present reports for owner Team;
∎ Responsibility and End to end efficient and cost-effective movement of all movements;
∎ Vendor management related to all shipping - includes crating, shipping agencies etc.
∎ Follow-up Cargo Loading & Discharging (Mother vessels and Lighter Vessels),
∎ Managing Vessel Draft Survey & Bunker Survey;
∎ Maintaining relation with Port, Customs Official and Administration;
∎ Performing any other relevant tasks and assignments given by the Management time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 50 years
∎ 10 Years of relevant professional experience in the field of Shipping and Logistics, of which at least 5 (Five) Year(s) as a similar position in a large Group of Company;
∎ Capacity of leading a professional team.
