∎ Must have strong knowledge of home appliance technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes.
∎ Proficiency in 2D/3D design software and its application in product development is required.
∎ Must be familiar with current industry trends, innovative materials, and modern design technologies.
∎ Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and experience in manufacturing or R&D will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead R&D initiatives focused on product design, performance optimization, cost reduction, and quality enhancement for home appliance products.
∎ Develop and trial new materials, components, manufacturing techniques, and technologies to improve product durability, efficiency, and user satisfaction.
∎ Collaborate closely with production, quality assurance, design, and sourcing teams to integrate new innovations into mass production seamlessly.
∎ Conduct thorough root cause analysis of product defects or failures and implement long-term corrective solutions through structured R&D.
∎ Maintain comprehensive documentation of all product trials, lab test results, technical validations, and process improvements.
∎ Stay current with global trends, innovative technologies, and compliance standards relevant to electronics, home appliances, and sustainability.
∎ Mentor and train R&D engineers and technical staff, fostering a high-performance innovation culture and technical excellence across the team.
